Student Chapters: Our students are very important to us, so much so that we have dedicated an entire section to their activities. Visit the Student Chapters page and see what your student community is up to.

Do you have something to announce? If you want to share trenchless news with us, please contact GLSLA.

The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) is an association of consulting engineers, educators, contractors, governmental agencies and regulators involved with the application of trenchless technologies. Our Chapter is an affiliate of NASTT and helps to represent the Canadian perspective in the North American trenchless technology marketplace.

The Great Lakes, St. Lawrence & Atlantic Chapter (GLSLA) has, since 1995, strived to offer its members educational opportunities, unique training and various forums to foster growth and interest for trenchless technologies in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. GLSLA owes many thanks to all of its members and volunteers, who throughout the years, have helped build this Chapter from a few industry experts with a dream into a strong Canadian network within the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) family. GLSLA currently has just over 200 members from engineering/consultants, utilities and public works, construction, manufacturers and suppliers and academia, which also include our very valuable student members.

Five Student Chapters have been established, namely Concordia, McGill, Queen’s and Waterloo Universities as well as Université Laval who actively promote trenchless innovations and studies within the student community by participating in the annual No-Dig activities and contests as well as hosting training seminars.

In an effort to keep promoting trenchless technologies GLSLA also maintains four activity committees: Education and Training, Website, Student Chapters and GLSLA's Trenchless Journal.

With these endeavors, we hope to keep providing valuable services to our members and help the trenchless domain as a whole grow in our local communities.
